This week is MND Awareness Week, with International Awareness Day falling on Thursday 21st.
Here in the fundraising department we’re very excited because this weekend we’ve got a group of events taking place under the banner of Take The Plunge for MND Scotland. We’ve got a Skydive, a Bungee Jump, and a Shark Dive taking place on Saturday – and in fact the Shark Dive was so popular that we had to open up two more dive slots on Sunday!
Then we’ve got people taking part in the Dragon Boat Race in Leith on Saturday, and there’s a Golf Day taking place on Friday.
Many of the participants in these events are doing so because they decided to Do Something Special in 2012 to help fight MND. We’re so proud, and so grateful, to each and every one of our supporters for what they’re doing. Thank you all so much.
